Formula overview
Inositol is a vitamin-like compound your cells use to listen to insulin and other signals. Lunaria brings together 2,000 mg of myo-inositol and 50 mg of D-chiro-inositol, a 40:1 ratio, the same proportion circulating in the body.
We added L-methylfolate, methylcobalamin, chromium and vitamin D, nutrients that support women's metabolic and hormonal wellness.
Four capsules a day, with food. The vitamin D in Lunaria is lichen-derived D3, so the whole formula is plant-based.
What it does
Supports hormonal balance*
Myo- and D-chiro-inositol are the two inositol forms the body uses, supplied in the 40:1 ratio found in healthy plasma.
Supports healthy glucose and insulin metabolism*
Inositols act as second messengers for insulin signaling, and chromium supports normal glucose use.
Methylated B-vitamins for women*
L-methylfolate and methylcobalamin are active forms that support women's folate and B12 needs.
How it works
Myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol are second messengers in insulin signaling, and the body keeps them in a specific balance in different tissues. Supplying both in a 40:1 ratio supports that balance. Chromium supports normal glucose metabolism, and folate, B12 and vitamin D support the pathways that matter for women across life stages.*

Read our planned standardsQuestions, answered
Why four capsules?
A 2,000 mg dose of myo-inositol needs several capsules. You can take two in the morning and two with dinner.
What is the 40:1 ratio?
It means 40 parts myo-inositol to 1 part D-chiro-inositol, 2,000 mg to 50 mg.
Is it vegan?
The vegan version uses lichen-derived vitamin D3. The manufacturer's current stock formula does not disclose its D source, so we require the lichen swap before launch.
Can I take it with a multivitamin?
Yes, but check that your multivitamin does not add significant chromium.
