A small lab with a simple rule

BioVegan Laboratory began in 2021 in Hallandale Beach, Florida, with a question we kept asking in the supplement aisle: why is it so hard to find vitamins that are vegan all the way through? Not just the active ingredient, but the capsule, the coating, the color and the gummy itself.

Most vitamin D3 is made from sheep's wool. Most gummies are set with gelatin. Most softgels are bovine or fish gelatin. None of that is hidden, exactly. It's just on the back of the label, in small print, where few people look.

So we built a line that starts from the back of the label. Plant capsules and fruit pectin today; algae omega-3 and lichen D3 as soon as our manufacturer confirms every ingredient. Bioavailable forms like magnesium bisglycinate and methylated B vitamins. Made in the USA in cGMP facilities, and tested by independent labs, lot by lot.
