Formula overview
Living Meadow is a ten-strain probiotic with 30 billion CFU per capsule. It pairs the classic Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains most people know with two spore-forming Bacillus strains, DE111® and Bacillus coagulans, chosen for their sturdy shelf life.
The capsule is vegetable cellulose with pectin, the fill is rice dextrin and MCT oil, and there is nothing animal-derived in the recipe. The label notes that potency is measured at the time of manufacture and that refrigeration helps preserve it.
Probiotic benefits are strain-specific, so we name every strain on the label rather than hiding behind a total.

Spore-forming Bacillus strains arrive as dormant spores that withstand stomach acid and germinate in the intestine. Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains are the traditional gut residents, delivered in the same capsule for broader coverage.

How to use
Take 1 capsule daily, preferably with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Refrigeration is optional but may help maximize potency.

Do I need to refrigerate it?
No. The spore-forming strains are shelf-stable, but the label notes refrigeration may maximize potency.
Is it dairy-free?
There are no dairy ingredients in the recipe. We are confirming in writing that the culture media are dairy-free before we state that on the label.
What is DE111®?
A branded Bacillus subtilis strain that has been studied in healthy adults and children.
Is it vegan?
