Turmeric is the golden spice behind curry, and it has become one of the biggest botanicals in supplements. The challenge is that big capsules are not for everyone. Dawnspice is a gummy: 250 mg of turmeric extract standardized to 95% curcuminoids, plus ginger root extract and a trace of black pepper fruit extract, in a peach pectin gummy.
Each serving of two gummies is 40 calories with 4 g of sugar. There is no gelatin and no artificial color.

How it works
The main active compounds in turmeric are the curcuminoids, with curcumin the best known. They are studied for their effect on inflammatory signaling in the body. Ginger contains gingerols and shogaols with similar interest. Curcumin is poorly absorbed on its own; the black pepper extract is a traditional companion, though the amount in this gummy is small.
